Our Initiatives
Challenges
The Challenges Initiative is an indirect educational series consisting of several challenges to gradually improve the participant’s skills over the long term. Each challenge covers a basic skill in the arts of animation. Upon completing the challenges, the participant becomes deeply immersed in the field and qualified to develop and refine his skills, engage in the labor market, and build his own projects.
Dimension gathering
A cultural and social initiative that focuses on holding semi-monthly meetings to bring together all animation lovers under one roof in several regions in the Kingdom, starting with the city of Riyadh. We learn about what’s new in the field and industry, in addition to gaining more knowledge about animation and building a communication link for all levels of artistic expertise, from amateur to specialist.
Education
The Animation Education Initiative is a training program targeting individuals of all levels, amateurs, professionals, students and those interested in developing their skills in the field of animation, with the aim of improving their skills and expanding their horizons through advanced workshops and courses focusing on animation techniques, production and supporting fields.
Toon Talk Podcast
ToonTalk aims to enrich Arabic content by hosting a number of experienced figures who are directly or indirectly associated with animation, such as painters, voice actors, game makers, and other stakeholders; in order to enhance the industry by encouraging creativity, inspiring, guiding amateurs, spreading awareness, and increasing investment capabilities in the field.
Translation of academic books
The Translation Initiative is an initiative that aims to translate specialized books on animation from English into Arabic, to provide advanced educational resources and develop Arabic content in the field, which contributes to enhancing knowledge and developing the animation industry in the Arab world.
Rawi Festival
An artistic and educational event that aims to promote the culture of animation through the screening of local and international films, in addition to workshops and seminars led by industry experts. It also provides networking opportunities between creators and investors to explore the latest innovations and technologies. The event contributes to building a strong community that supports the animation industry and encourages creativity.
